Blueberry, Kefir and Oat Runner Smoothie

For a breakfast that will help you power through your long run, whip up our Blueberry, Kefir and Oat Runner Smoothie! Rich in antioxidants, fiber, omega-3s and protein, this smoothie it our go-to choice when training gets tough.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Lifeway Plain Low Fat Kefir
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, frozen
  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1/4 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats*
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients into the pitcher of a high-powered blender. Blend on high until desired consistency is reached. Enjoy immediately!

    Notes

  • Be sure to use certified gluten-free oats if you're sensitive to gluten.
