Probiotic Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie

Enjoy Thanksgiving dessert without the junk with our healthy Probiotic Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie. We ditched the marshmallows and refined sugar in favor of banana and maple syrup for a smoothie treat that satisfies your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lifeway Organic Plain Whole Milk Kefir
  • 1 scant cup sweet potato, steamed and diced into chunks
  • 1 medium banana, frozen and sliced
  • 1-2 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Ice, as needed

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients into the pitcher of a high powered blender. Blend on high until smooth, or until desired consistency is reached.
