JULIE SMOLYANSKY

Julie Smolyansky became the youngest female CEO of a publicly held firm when she took over Lifeway Foods at the age of 27 in 2002. Since then, Julie has continued the company’s growth trajectory with creative product development and marketing, bringing an Eastern European product into the U.S. mainstream and boosting annual company revenues to over $120 million in 2016 from $12 million when she took over. Under her leadership, the Company has expanded distribution throughout the United States, Mexico, the UK, and Ireland as well as portions of Central and South America and the Caribbean. She has been named to Fortune Business ‘40 under 40,’ Fortune’s 55 most influential women on Twitter and Fast Company’s Most Creative People In Business 1000. She is a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Julie serves as a member of the United Nations Foundation Global Entrepreneurs Council and was part of the 2015 class of Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. She has produced several documentaries, including “The Homestretch,” “Honor Diaries" and “The Hunting Ground.” In 2013 Julie co‐founded a non‐profit, Test400k, an organization dedicated to advocating ending the backlog of 400,000 untested rape kits in the United States. She lives in Chicago and is the mother of two girls.

EDWARD SMOLYANSKY

Chief Operating Officer

Edward Smolyansky is Lifeway’s Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer, and Secretary. Mr. Smolyansky has also served as the Company’s Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and its Controller, and acted as an executive assistant to his father, Lifeway’s founder Michael Smolyansky. He received his baccalaureate degree in finance from Loyola University of Chicago. Mr. Smolyansky is the brother of Company CEO Julie Smolyansky and the son of Lifeway’s Chairperson of the Board Ludmila Smolyansky.

Chief Operating Officer

Edward Smolyansky is Lifeway’s Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer, and Secretary. Mr. Smolyansky has also served as the Company’s Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and its Controller, and acted as an executive assistant to his father, Lifeway’s founder Michael Smolyansky. He received his baccalaureate degree in finance from Loyola University of Chicago. Mr. Smolyansky is the brother of Company CEO Julie Smolyansky and the son of Lifeway’s Chairperson of the Board Ludmila Smolyansky.

JOHN WALDRON

Chief Financial Officer

John Waldron joined Lifeway as Vice President of Finance in July 2015. Prior to his employment at Lifeway, Mr. Waldron was a financial consultant at Tatum during 2015, counseling a large public company on effective controllership capabilities. Previously, Mr. Waldron was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Campbell Soup Company from 2011 to 2013 and Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Navistar from 2006 to 2010. Prior to 2006 Mr. Waldron held various financial leadership positions with private and public companies including RR Donnelley the Follett Corporation Dominick's Supermarkets and Terrific Promotions. Mr. Waldron began his career at Arthur Andersen and he is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago.

John Waldron joined Lifeway as Vice President of Finance in July 2015. JENNIFER REILLY

Senior Executive Vice President of Sales

Jennifer Reilly is Lifeway’s Senior Executive Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Lifeway, Jennifer led the National Accounts and Sales Planning Teams for Quaker Foods, a division of PepsiCo that generated over $3 billion in sales annually. Prior to this position, she was the Vice President of PepsiCo Warehouse Sales’ regional grocery business in the U.S. In this role, she led the field sales and retail execution teams managing Gatorade, Tropicana, Quaker, Müller, Naked and Emerging Brands across six regions within the U.S. In addition, Jennifer held several headquarters & field sales roles during her 11-year tenure with PepsiCo. Prior to PepsiCo, Ms. Reilly spent nine years with Colgate-Palmolive holding key customer management roles including Target, Dollar General, Associated Wholesale Grocers and Valu Merchandisers.

General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary

Doug Hass is Lifeway’s General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. He has more than twenty years of legal, management, and operations experience, centered on technology-intensive businesses. He joined the Company in March 2016 from international law firm DLA Piper LLP (US). In private practice, Doug advised and represented a wide range of federal and state government and public and privately-held clients on a variety of labor and employment, corporate, technology/new media issues, and associated corporate law and litigation issues. From 1998 until 2006, he was Chief Operations Officer at ImageStream, a multinational telecommunications and Internet networking equipment manufacturer. Prior to 1998, Doug was Vice President and Partner at Skye/net, a major Midwest-based Internet service provider and founded country music website Roughstock.com. He holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.

Ms. Smolyansky has been the operator of several independent delicatessen, gourmet food distributorship businesses and imported food distributorships. Ms. Smolyansky and Michael Smolyansky founded the company and Ms. Smolyansky served as the company’s General Manager. Ms. Smolyansky retired as an employee of the company and continues to serve the company as its Chairman of the Board and as a consultant. Ms. Smolyansky brings many years of food industry experience to the board.
