Ingredients
- 1 flatbread of choice
- 3/4 cup Farmer Cheese
- 1 tbsp. hot honey
- 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup mushroom slices
- optional: 1/2 roasted zucchini or other veggies
- 1 cup baby arugula
- 1 tbsp. additional olive oil for drizzling on top
- 1 tbsp. extra hot honey for drizzling on top
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Blend Lifeway Farmer Cheese and olive oil until smooth and whipped.
- Stir the hot honey and red pepper flakes into the whipped Farmer Cheese. Spread this mixture evenly over flatbread.
- Sauté the onions, mushrooms, and zucchini if using in a saucepan with a little olive oil until lightly browned and softened.
- Top the flatbread with the sautéed veggies, and bake for 8-10 minutes until warm and lightly crisped.
