Italian Salad

Everyone romaine calm‼️ The wait is over and dinner is served with our easy Italian Salad recipe. Simply chop up cherry tomatoes, cucumber, green and red onion, artichoke, green pepper, a few dollops of our probiotic farmer cheese, and add to a bed of romaine lettuce. Artichokes have vitamin C and K, phosphorus, magnesium, as well as prebiotic fiber. Green pepper has vitamins A, E, K, folate, and potassium. Cucumbers are made up of 96% water, which will help you to meet your daily fluid needs. Our farmer cheese adds a creamy element to this salad, as well as 12 live and active probiotic cultures. A salad with prebiotic fiber and probiotic cultures may help to diversify the environment in the gut microbiome. Serve on its own or pair it with another healthy dish. We recommend a hearty pasta or pizza. The choice is yours, so go with your gut!

Prebiotics + Probiotics = a Healthy You

Prebiotics are non-living, non-digestible carbohydrates naturally found in a variety of foods. Your body actually can’t digest prebiotics, so they’re what probiotics feed off of to remain actively working in your digestive system. They help the digestive system by promoting the growth of good bacteria. Prebiotics and probiotics work together in balance to make sure our digestive system stays on track and regular. Research has found that consuming a variety of prebiotic and probiotic food sources may improve your body’s natural functions, including both your immune and digestive system.
