Ground yourself with an earthy bowl of Spiced Chai Oatmeal, a gut-healthy mix of tart fruit, semi-sweet chocolate bites, and the signature tang of kefir. It’s the perfect snack to fuel your body after a revitalizing meditation. Mix together chai tea, a traditional Indian blend made of black tea, ginger, and cinnamon (which all have powerful antioxidants to support heart health), with oats, ground cloves, nutmeg, salt, and water. Stir in Honey Coconut Kefir, one of our brand-new kefir flavors, which has 12 live and active probiotic cultures that may balance the gut microbiome and strengthen the immune system. Top your bowl of oatmeal with a beautiful display of pecans for monounsaturated fats to support heart health, blood oranges for a great source of vitamin C, and chocolate for fiber, iron, copper, and manganese. As you eat, be mindful that each bite is symbolic of love, balance, and nourishment. Chai it, you’ll love it.
Prebiotics + Probiotics = a Healthy You
Prebiotics are non-living, non-digestible carbohydrates naturally found in a variety of foods. Your body actually can’t digest prebiotics, so they’re what probiotics feed off of to remain actively working in your digestive system. They help the digestive system by promoting the growth of good bacteria. Prebiotics and probiotics work together in balance to make sure our digestive system stays on track and regular. Research has found that consuming a variety of prebiotic and probiotic food sources may improve your body’s natural functions, including both your immune and digestive system.
