Marathon Recovery Smoothie

Kefir provides recovery-friendly and easily digestible protein, while beets, tart cherry juice and mixed berries provide vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients that aid in recovery and relaxation. Plus, it’s delicious!


  • 1 cup Lifeway Triple Berry Tart Perfect 12 Kefir
  • ½ cup tart cherry juice
  • 2/3 cup beets, peeled and chopped (steamed if you don’t have a high-powered blender)
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds


  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender in the order listed. Blend on high until desired consistency is reached. Relax, refresh and enjoy…until your next workout!
