Nacho ordinary breakfast. We’re celebrating National Waffle Day in style with Breakfast Waffle Nachos for everyone! We made the batter with kefir, ancho chile powder, flour, and extra goodies. We decorated the platter with protein-rich farmer cheese, hot honey, and an array of fresh Mexican ingredients. Enjoy this creative feast!

Directions

  1. Heat a waffle iron until very hot. Working in batches, pour ½ cup batter onto iron and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 2 minutes. Transfer to oven (200 degrees) and let the waffles crisp up. Top the waffles with your favorite Mexican flavors and enjoy!
