For this recipe, we blended Lifeway Kefir with real coconut, banana, coffee, and some raw cacao and almond butter for a superfood bowl that’s great for your gut. It has live probiotics and protein from Lifeway Kefir, with plenty of fiber, magnesium, calcium, iron, and potassium from the almond butter, cacao, coconut, and the banana. The coffee also adds an energizing touch, but you can use decaf if you want to enjoy this at night.

- 1 1/2 cups Whole Milk Coconut Honey Kefir
- *or use Lowfat Coconut Kefir
- 1 tsp. ground espresso powder (or instant coffee works)
- 1/4 cup frozen coconut meat/chunks (or use 2 tbsp. raw coconut butter)
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp raw almond butter
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- Toppings: banana slices, coconut shreds/unsweetened coconut, raw cacao nibs, raw cashew and/or almonds
Directions
- Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until thick and creamy; if you have a tamper, use it. Top with coconut shreds, cacao nibs, raw cashews and/or almonds, and bananas.
- Optional add-ins: 2 tsp maca powder or 1 tbsp chia seeds
