Directions

  1. Toast the bread to your liking.
  2. As the bread is toasting, mix together Lifeway Farmer Cheese, basil or other herb(s), lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  3. Once the bread is toasted, rub one side of each slice of toast with the cut open end of the garlic clove.
  4. Spread the farmer cheese mixture from step 2 on the same sides of each slice of toast that you rubbed with garlic.
  5. Top two slices of toast with 2 slices of heirloom tomatoes, then garnish with a sprinkle of flaky salt. Place the two remaining slices of toast over the tomatoes, cut each in half, and enjoy right away!
