By using our versatile artisan cheese in the batter, this recipe accentuates the cozy autumn flavors of cinnamon and dough, making every bite a celebratory seasonal treat.

Directions

  1. Whisk together eggs and 1/2 cup cane sugar.
  2. Add in Lifeway Farmer Cheese and baking powder. Combine until smooth.
  3. Fold in the flour 1/2 a cup at a time. One fully incorporated, roll the dough into separate balls.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium/low. Once the oil has heated up, scoop the dough balls into the pan. Flip each round with a fork until each side turns golden brown.
  5. Mix together the 1/4 cup cane sugar and cinnamon. Immediately after the donut holes are done frying, stir them around in the cinnamon sugar and allow to cool. Enjoy!
