- Pumpkin Bread:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 2/3 cup cane sugar or equivalent sweetener
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup Original Kefir
- 1 15oz can pumpkin puree
- 2 cups gluten-free flour of choice
- 2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Probiotic Frosting:
- 1 tbsp. Organic Whole Milk Plain Kefir
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together the butter and sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and Lifeway Organic Whole Milk Plain Kefir and mix well. Stir in all the other bar ingredients.
- Pour into a baking pan that is covered with parchment paper.
- Bake for 35 minutes. While baking prepare the frosting.
- Mix together ingredients for the frosting.
- Drizzle the frosting over the bread and enjoy!
