With our Grilled Farmer Cheese & Kimchi recipe, we’re taking a classic grilled cheese sandwich, and then elevating it with probiotics from our tastefully tangy Lifeway Farmer Cheese and chopped spicy kimchi—another probiotic powerhouse! Kimchi, also known as Korean sauerkraut, is well-known for its probiotics, but it’s also high in prebiotic fiber, too. Fusing Korean kimchi with regular cheese and Lifeway Farmer Cheese gives the sandwich a spicy kick and loads of creamy goodness along with microbiome-loving magic. One bite, and you’ll never look at a grilled cheese the same again!

Directions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat. spread butter over one side of each soughdough bread, place the buttered side of one slice of bread down. Top with all of your cheeses. Cover with a lid and heat until the cheese has melted down. Top with Kimchi, and and other side of buttered sourdough slice (buttered side up), and flip the grilled cheese. Cook until slightly browned on each side and the cheese is melted.
