Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup Mango Grassfed Kefir – Lactose Free
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots or baby carrots
- 1/4 tsp. ginger powder or 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric for added color and anti-inflammatory benefits
- Optional for added sweetness: 1 pitted date, 1/2 a fresh or frozen banana, 1-2 drops of stevia, or 1 tsp. honey
- Optional: add your favorite collagen peptides or 1/2 a scoop of vanilla protein powder if you want more protein
Directions
- Add the ingredients to a blender in the order listed, then blend on low and progress to high until thick and creamy. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
- To make this thicker, use frozen carrots and be sure to use frozen mango instead of fresh mango. Adding 1/2 a frozen banana will also make it thicker and sweeter, or you can just add ice cubes, too.
