The Northside Festival is back and bigger than ever this week in sunny Brooklyn, NY! The fest, now it its third year, features more than 400 musical acts, 150 inspiring speakers and 50 movies, providing listening and viewing opportunities for everyone to enjoy! As sponsors of the festival, we’ll also be around sampling some of our famous kefir, so if you’re in the area, be on the lookout for our team!
It’s a known fact that Lifeway loves summer festivals (and who could blame us?). but we’re exceptionally excited for Northside this year, as our fearless leader Julie Smolyansky, (Lifeway’s President and CEO) will be a part of an invigorating panel of cutting-edge CEOs discussing how their industries are adapting to cultural shifts. Titled, “Capitalizing on the Moment,” the panel will be held on Friday, June 12th at 2:50 p.m. and moderated by Zoe Chace, producer for the award-winning This American Life radio series. What a great group of people, right?
