Ringing in a 2015 That’s Good for More Than Just You

On behalf of the entire Lifeway family, we want to send a big thank you to all of the organizations that celebrated with us as we rang the NASDAQ opening bell on Tuesday and kicked off our new campaign. Even more, we want to shine a spotlight on their collective actions that provide much needed services and programs to the public – locally, nationally and globally. Their commitments to sustainable business practices, environmental consciousness, youth development, female empowerment and overall humanitarian efforts are models for not just Lifeway, but the rest of our society They embody the philosophy the work you doing being good for more than just you and we were honored to share the stage with them.

Charity Miles – Charity Miles is a free iPhone/Android App that enables you to earn corporate sponsorships for charity by walking, running or biking. #EveryMileMatters

Common Threads – Common Threads delivers culturally-relevant cooking and nutrition curriculum for kids in under served schools and communities that results in life-long healthy eating habits.

Every Mother Counts – Every Mother Counts is a non-profit organization working to reduce the number of women who die due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

Chicago Gateway Green – Chicago Gateway Green is a non-profit organization dedicated to greening and beautifying Chicago’s expressway, gateways, and neighborhoods.

YWCA – The YWCA is an organization that is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Hollaback! – Hollaback is a movement to end street harassment powered by a network of local activists around the world.

Clinton Global Initiative – The Clinton Global Initiative convenes global leaders to create and implement innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges

United Nations Foundation – The United Nations is an international organization that connects the UN’s work with others around the globe to tackle issues including climate change, global health, peace and security, women’s empowerment, poverty eradication and energy access.

Year Up – Year Up’s mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.

Claudia Chan S. H. E. Summit – S.H.E. (she helps empower) Summit was founded by Claudia Chan with the belief that if women are exposed to a diversity of female role models, confidence-building stories and strategies, tools for personal and professional growth, and the significance of supporting each other–then they are more likely to reach their full potential and transform our culture for the betterment of all women and the world.
