Compassion is the core of what we do. On the last Wednesday of every month, we donate 10% of our Kefir Shop earnings for that day to a local organization, a different cause will be featured each month. We value giving back to support Chicago and the organizations working to make it a better city!
November 2017 Charity: I Grow Chicago
On November 29th visit a Kefir Shop to support the organization I Grow Chicago, a nonprofit that uses an array of tools to manifest peace within their community. From yoga to urban farming, all of their programs work to combat the traumatic effects of violence and poverty on children and families. Through their holistic engagement model, they promote a healing justice framework that simultaneously addresses environmental stressors and provides collective healing in order to cultivate vibrant, healthy communities.
